Bernardino Etxepare was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ambrosio Laurgain. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aurelio Guillen in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aquilino Blasco saved Quequén AFC from getting behind. Leonides Gelmiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 15 minutes Angostura AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hipolito Eneas who took care of the corner kick. In the 22nd minute, Aurelio Guillen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Quequén AFC's Aquilino Blasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florencio Loren in the 25th minute of play. Baltasar Gonzo kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Leonides Gelmiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernardino Etxepare made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Celestino Orland sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florencio Loren in the 48th minute of play forced Quequén AFC's goalkeeper Aquilino Blasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Leonides Gelmiro made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Celestino Orland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardino Etxepare saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aurelio Guillen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Angostura AFC's Bernardino Etxepare played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celestino Orland in the 62nd minute of play. When Lisandro Kiliz came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Quequén AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lisandro Kiliz couldn't finish the play. In the 70th minute, Arsenio Chinto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Florencio Loren received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aquilino Blasco came out and tried to block the shot, but Florencio Loren slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 76th minute. Florencio Loren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aquilino Blasco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Florencio Loren received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aquilino Blasco came out and tried to block the shot, but Florencio Loren slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 83rd minute. In the 89th minute, Celestino Orland got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Celestino Orland might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernardino Etxepare. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Celestino Orland ran back to his position shaking his head. After 95 played minutes Angostura AFC got a freekick which was hit by Alejandro Benet. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Angostura AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
