If Herminio Umbruso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Ranquilcó's Esteban Rudolfo got control of the ball when Blas Gorbea tried to sneak it across the goal line. Santo Sustrai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Cipriano Mannuel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Santo Sustrai blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cipriano Mannuel having to make a save. Santo Sustrai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aquiles Pedroso kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Lumbrera's Esteban Ezkerra tried to score from far away in the 18th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Herminio Umbruso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Santo Sustrai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 25 minutes into the match, Lumbrera's goal looked a bit too open when Herminio Umbruso came free, but Cipriano Mannuel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lumbrera's Nemesio Vimaro suffered a concussion after 28 minutes and had to leave the field. Benjamin Senon hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute, Cristo Inge made a precise shot to the right of Esteban Rudolfo. Ranquilcó's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Lumbrera's zone, Santo Sustrai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cipriano Mannuel came out of the goal and Santo Sustrai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Santo Sustrai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Mannuel having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Santo Sustrai to make the kick off. Lumbrera's Cipriano Mannuel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santo Sustrai in the 55th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Blas Gorbea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lumbrera's supporters rose to their feet, but Blas Gorbea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Esteban Rudolfo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maximino Ubelteso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Esteban Rudolfo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Herminio Umbruso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cipriano Mannuel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 80th minute, Maximino Ubelteso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lumbrera's defense didn't have a chance, in the 83rd minute, when Santo Sustrai scored to the left of an out of position Cipriano Mannuel, making the score, 1-3. Atilano Breogan hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Lumbrera's Blas Gorbea got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ranquilcó walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
