Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cayetano Salvidor took the kick off in the first half of the match. 6 minutes into the match, Copina's goal looked a bit too open when Santo Sustrai came free, but Orlando Benet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claudio Domeka's late challenge caught a Ranquilcó's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claudio Domeka helped the player get up and apologised. In the 7th minute, Claudio Domeka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Esteban Rudolfo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cayetano Salvidor in the 19th minute of play. Herminio Umbruso scored 0-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Orlando Benet, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Copina booed when Ranquilcó was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Atilano Breogan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute of the match Baldomiro Ignazio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Esteban Rudolfo skillfully saved the ball. In the 38th minute, Jacinto Favila got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Ranquilcó getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Atilano Breogan hit a great ball. Cayetano Salvidor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Esteban Rudolfo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Jacinto Favila had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Esteban Rudolfo. Ranquilcó's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jacinto Favila was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Santo Sustrai to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Copina's zone, Santo Sustrai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orlando Benet came out of the goal and Santo Sustrai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Copina getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Honorio Peio hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Ranquilcó's Nunez Jaunti tried to score from far away in the 62nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Orlando Benet came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ranquilcó's Herminio Umbruso. But to his dismay, Herminio Umbruso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Herminio Umbruso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Orlando Benet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ranquilcó's Esteban Rudolfo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Favila in the 89th minute of play. Jacinto Favila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteban Rudolfo having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ranquilcó had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
