Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Celedonio Salvatore got the match started through his kick off. After 6 played minutes Tala FC got a freekick which was hit by Santos Tartalo. Ambrosio Leizarraga hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Vicente Blasi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugenio Argi, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Domingo Hotz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Vicente Blasi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, Salto's goal looked a bit too open when Celedonio Salvatore came free, but Edgardo Nuxila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santos Tartalo kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Eugenio Argi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Salto's supporters rose to their feet, but Eugenio Argi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vicente Blasi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vicente Blasi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugenio Argi in the 28th minute of play. Angelino Katia charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Angelino Katia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 37th minute, Eugenio Argi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 40 minutes into the match, Salto's Domingo Hotz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vicente Blasi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 43 minutes, Domingo Hotz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Salto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Domingo Hotz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Domingo Hotz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eugenio Argi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vicente Blasi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugenio Argi, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Raimundo Ezkerra kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Bonifacio Lopez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Edgardo Nuxila made a huge save. Vicente Blasi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eugenio Argi's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Eugenio Argi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Blasi having to interfere. Salto's Eugenio Argi got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Santos Tartalo hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Eugenio Argi might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vicente Blasi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eugenio Argi ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 71st match minute, Salto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raimundo Ezkerra to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugenio Argi in the 74th minute of play forced Tala FC's goalkeeper Vicente Blasi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Salto booed when Tala FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ambrosio Leizarraga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Domingo Hotz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the match, Eugenio Argi notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Tala FC's Vicente Blasi. Vicente Blasi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Salto's Edgardo Nuxila proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Salto from getting a goal against them. After 85 played minutes Salto got a freekick which was hit by Raimundo Ezkerra. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domingo Hotz in the 87th minute of play forced Tala FC's goalkeeper Vicente Blasi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eugenio Argi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Blasi having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celedonio Salvatore in the 99th minute of play forced Salto's goalkeeper Edgardo Nuxila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the Salto players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
