After 34 played minutes Cachipampa got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Feliu. After having played for 40 minutes, Atilano Qwinton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chabás's supporters crossed their fingers, but Atilano Qwinton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arnulfo Aimar kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. If Atilano Qwinton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernando Feliu hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Atilano Qwinton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Urbano Calvet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aquilino Niguel to make the kick off. The Chabás fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After having played for 58 minutes, Atilano Qwinton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chabás's Alfonso Iago proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Chabás from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rigoberto Veronica in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Urbano Calvet saved Cachipampa from getting behind. Rigoberto Veronica's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Urbano Calvet read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Chabás's Atilano Qwinton got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
