After a defensive mix-up in Juancho's zone, Victor Gustau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilfredo Hondo came out of the goal and Victor Gustau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 9thth minute of the game Silvio Bastian who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tastil's Zeledon Blasco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silvio Bastian in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zeledon Blasco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zeledon Blasco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacobo Christobal, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 12th minute, Jacobo Christobal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Juancho fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After some careless play in the Tastil defense, Silvio Bastian kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zeledon Blasco. The Tastil fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zeledon Blasco should have stopped the shot. Silvio Bastian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Blasco having to interfere. After 25 played minutes, Juancho's Eloy Geofredo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Zeledon Blasco came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Juancho reached it. After a defensive mix-up in Juancho's zone, Victor Gustau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilfredo Hondo came out of the goal and Victor Gustau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Silvio Bastian took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zeledon Blasco. Zeledon Blasco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jacobo Christobal in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. Tastil's Zeledon Blasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvio Bastian in the 35th minute of play. Jacobo Christobal scored 0-4 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zeledon Blasco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bernardo Lluciano charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernardo Lluciano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 40th minute, Bernardo Lluciano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacobo Christobal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Zeledon Blasco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silvio Bastian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Victor Gustau made a kick off. Zeledon Blasco made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Silvio Bastian sent off a good shot on target. When Ubaldo Rainerio fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Juancho's protests and gave Ubaldo Rainerio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 58th minute, Ubaldo Rainerio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Tastil booed when Juancho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ubaldo Rainerio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tastil's Victor Gustau got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 62 played minutes Juancho got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Lluciano. If Victor Gustau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 65 minutes into the game, Evelio Bizen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Wilfredo Hondo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Silvio Bastian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evelio Bizen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilfredo Hondo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Tastil's Victor Gustau sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilfredo Hondo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Silvio Bastian's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zeledon Blasco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Jacobo Christobal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zeledon Blasco having to make a save. 78 minutes into the match, Juancho's Silvio Bastian sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zeledon Blasco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bernardo Lluciano got his second yellow card in the match during the 82nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 83rd match minute, Juancho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Lluciano to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th minute Evelio Bizen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilfredo Hondo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th match minute, Juancho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvio Bastian to maneuver through the defense. 90 minutes into the game, Evelio Bizen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tastil's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Juancho the free kick. A collision led to Tastil getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Evelio Bizen hit a great ball. Evelio Bizen struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Wilfredo Hondo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tastil.
