To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wilfredo Turi hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Relmo's Gerardo Eguzki tried to score from far away in the 13th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Lucas Quinto might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gregorio Guter. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lucas Quinto ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Viña FC defense, Primitivo Panfilo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gregorio Guter. The Viña FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gregorio Guter should have stopped the shot. The referee gave Relmo a penalty, 25 minutes into the game. Primitivo Panfilo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gregorio Guter having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Lucas Quinto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Relmo's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucas Quinto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gregorio Guter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Primitivo Panfilo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregorio Guter having to interfere. Gregorio Guter stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucas Quinto's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. After some careless play in the Viña FC defense, Primitivo Panfilo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gregorio Guter. The Viña FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gregorio Guter should have stopped the shot. If Lucas Quinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Primitivo Panfilo to make the kick off. Primitivo Panfilo's late challenge caught a Viña FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Primitivo Panfilo sped through Viña FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gregorio Guter. After having played for 91 minutes, Primitivo Panfilo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Relmo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Primitivo Panfilo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Relmo left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Viña FC.
