Ovidio Gomesano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amador Unax read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Naranjito's Segundo Abella suffered a concussion after 8 minutes and had to leave the field. Alvaro Isusko's late challenge caught a Naranjito's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. This resulted in a 1-3 score and a disappointed Gogo Piarres as he didn't even see the shot coming. Rogelio Claus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Amador Unax tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Naranjito's Jonatan Ariando got a free kick in the 84th minute. During the 87th minute of the match Moises Lando completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Moises Lando a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Moises Lando kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Gogo Piarres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantino Qwinton in the 92nd minute of the match. Naranjito's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
