An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogelio Claus in the 13th minute of play forced Tránsito's goalkeeper Ricardo Rocio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ovidio Gomesano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emiliano Domenec blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gogo Piarres having to make a save. Ricardo Rocio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ovidio Gomesano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Tránsito defense, Ovidio Gomesano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardo Rocio. The Tránsito fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardo Rocio should have stopped the shot. In the 33rd minute Joaquin Miliano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gogo Piarres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquin Miliano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gogo Piarres read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Emiliano Domenec ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gogo Piarres was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2.

Rogelio Claus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Rocio having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dante Bibiano during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Bilintx in the 90th minute of play forced Tránsito's goalkeeper Ricardo Rocio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
