The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Cerrito FC's goalkeeper Bernardo Laurin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Cerrito FC's Natalio Vela threw himself towards the right post 8 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Aldo Mosen, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luisito Mannuel during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 16 played minutes Cerrito FC got a freekick which was hit by Luisito Mannuel. The audience was convinced that Carlos Ospin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernardo Laurin was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Luisito Mannuel hit a great ball. 40 minutes into the game, Aldo Mosen recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Natalio Vela. Aldo Mosen showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Carlos Ospin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aldo Mosen to make the kick off. In the 59thth minute of the game Aldo Mosen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tornquist AFC's Natalio Vela was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 63rd match minute, Cerrito FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urbano Guter to maneuver through the defense. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
