Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Robustiano Silviano in the 3rd minute of play forced Trinidad AFC's goalkeeper Melquiades Esquipula to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Astor Papo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Braulio Roano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Trinidad AFC's zone, Astor Papo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melquiades Esquipula came out of the goal and Astor Papo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 9th match minute, Ancón was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobias Cordarryl to maneuver through the defense. Astor Papo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Astor Papo scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Melquiades Esquipula, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 22nd match minute, Trinidad AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santos Pelayo to maneuver through the defense. Ancón's Astor Papo got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Melquiades Esquipula took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Braulio Roano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Trinidad AFC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Santos Pelayo hit a great ball. Melquiades Esquipula showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Astor Papo, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Astor Papo took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Melquiades Esquipula. Melquiades Esquipula dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Braulio Roano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Melquiades Esquipula tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Braulio Roano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ancón's supporters rose to their feet, but Braulio Roano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Melquiades Esquipula breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Ancón were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Astor Papo was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Trinidad AFC's Carlos Igon got a free kick in the 51st minute. Tadeo Arotza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edelmiro Isaio having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Ancón's zone, Aaron Lordi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edelmiro Isaio came out of the goal and Aaron Lordi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 62nd minute, Braulio Roano made a precise shot to the right of Melquiades Esquipula. Trinidad AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Braulio Roano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Melquiades Esquipula tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Prospero Duardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Edelmiro Isaio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tadeo Arotza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Francisco Refugio hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. 87 minutes into the match, Astor Papo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Melquiades Esquipula, 0-4. Astor Papo scored 0-5 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Melquiades Esquipula, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Ancón supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ancón would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
