Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Justo Jesco made the kick off which started today's match. 5 minutes into the match, Marengo's goal looked a bit too open when Justo Jesco came free, but Domingos Efraim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7th minute Justo Jesco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingos Efraim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romeo Jaen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Generoso Gamus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Valle's Octavio Iratze got a free kick in the 16th minute. When Benedicto Tulio came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Valle fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benedicto Tulio couldn't finish the play. Justo Jesco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute, Benedicto Tulio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 30th match minute, Valle was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nemesio Heriberto to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Marengo's zone, Benedicto Tulio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domingos Efraim came out of the goal and Benedicto Tulio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Marengo booed when Valle was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leandro Garaile didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 49 minutes, Romeo Jaen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marengo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romeo Jaen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Valle's defense didn't have a chance, in the 74th minute, when Gualterio Cruz scored to the left of an out of position Generoso Gamus, making the score, 0-3. Gualterio Cruz struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Generoso Gamus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marengo. With a little luck, Valle's Generoso Gamus got control of the ball when Romeo Jaen tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gualterio Cruz in the 83rd minute of play forced Valle's goalkeeper Generoso Gamus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Romeo Jaen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Generoso Gamus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
