The Iraola AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Rafael Berto struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Angelo Quexal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Iraola AFC. Edelmiro Joey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Angelo Quexal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Alejandro Isusko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the match, Iraola AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Herminio Bidun came free, but Martin Valery reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Angelo Quexal was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Edelmiro Joey capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edelmiro Joey really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Angelo Quexal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Berto in the 25th minute of the match. Herminio Bidun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 45 minutes into the match, Lanús FC's goalkeeper Angelo Quexal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edelmiro Joey. Angelo Quexal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edelmiro Joey in the 46th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edelmiro Joey got free with Angelo Quexal in the 49th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Rafael Berto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Angelo Quexal was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. After 95 minutes, Fulgencio Galoer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Iraola AFC and the Lanús FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee gave Lanús FC a penalty, 97 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Armando Bembe, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Iraola AFC's Martin Valery. 3-3. After a rather tough play, Lanús FC's Ramiro Urbez got a free kick in the 99th minute. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
