The supporters of Gómez booed when Punco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Inautzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bruno Txomin came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Gómez's Gervasio Jerano. But to his dismay, Gervasio Jerano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0.
After a rather tough play, Gómez's Gervasio Jerano got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Gómez's zone, Daniel Norino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ubaldo Gauargi came out of the goal and Daniel Norino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 58 minutes, Eugenio Eriz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Punco FC and the Gómez players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 60th minute there was a penalty for Gómez. Eulalio Jakes stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Bruno Txomin. 5-0. Gómez's attack was well implemented in the 63rd minute, but when Gervasio Jerano was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Gervasio Jerano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gómez's supporters rose to their feet, but Gervasio Jerano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruno Txomin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Manni in the 93rd minute of play forced Punco FC's goalkeeper Bruno Txomin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gómez's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
