Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Marcos Manni kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the match, Durazno's Eliseo Hondo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Zeledon Unax sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcos Manni struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Cesar Piearres didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gómez. After 9 minutes, Evaristo Hitzeder mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Durazno and the Gómez players grew even worse after the yellow card. 12 minutes into the match, Gervasio Jerano notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Durazno's Cesar Piearres. Cesar Piearres was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gervasio Jerano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesar Piearres having to interfere. Cesar Piearres was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Gervasio Jerano capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gervasio Jerano really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Evaristo Hitzeder got his second yellow card in the match during the 31st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Evaristo Hitzeder hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Cesar Piearres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Manni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gervasio Jerano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gervasio Jerano got free with Cesar Piearres in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gervasio Jerano's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 40thth minute, Cesar Piearres skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Cesar Piearres was a little too slow when Gervasio Jerano got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 3-0. With a little luck, Durazno's Cesar Piearres got control of the ball when Gervasio Jerano tried to sneak it across the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.
Edgardo Urtungo kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Gervasio Jerano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Cesar Piearres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcos Manni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesar Piearres having to interfere. After having played for 59 minutes, Gervasio Jerano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gómez's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gervasio Jerano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcos Manni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesar Piearres having to interfere. If Gervasio Jerano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cesar Piearres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Manni, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Durazno's Cesar Piearres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Manni in the 69th minute of play. Cesar Piearres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Manni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eloy Telesforo lost his temper 77 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 77th minute of the game. One of Durazno:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gómez:s goal. In the 79th minute there was a penalty for Gómez. Eulalio Jakes stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Cesar Piearres. 4-0. Gómez's Gervasio Jerano got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cesar Piearres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Manni, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. If Marcos Manni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 100th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
