Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Guaberto Mino started the match with the kick off. When Tadeo Matthew fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sarasa FC's protests and gave Tadeo Matthew a yellow card for diving instead. Vinicio Chayo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Robustiano Eliazar managed to avoid a goal in the 7thth minute, when Sarasa FC's Augusto Gonsalve fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Patay's Robustiano Eliazar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Patay from getting a goal against them. Robustiano Eliazar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vinicio Chayo in the 20th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Patay's Donato Alonso got a free kick in the 22nd minute. If Augusto Gonsalve had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Guaberto Mino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Eduardo Urre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 36th play minutes Guaberto Mino shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Rigoberto Astudillo and just under the crossbar into goal. Rigoberto Astudillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Urre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute, Eduardo Urre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The wind increased when Vinicio Chayo made the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Eduino hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Augusto Gonsalve fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robustiano Eliazar having to interfere. With a little luck, Sarasa FC's Rigoberto Astudillo got control of the ball when Eduardo Urre tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eduardo Urre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Rigoberto Astudillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Patay booed when Sarasa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto Udalaitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Patay's Jonathan Eduino broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Guaberto Mino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Rigoberto Astudillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guaberto Mino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rigoberto Astudillo having to interfere. Robustiano Eliazar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vinicio Chayo, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tiburcio Olentzaro during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Sarasa FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Tiburcio Olentzaro hit a great ball. If Guaberto Mino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vinicio Chayo in the 81st minute of play forced Patay's goalkeeper Robustiano Eliazar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Vinicio Chayo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sarasa FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vinicio Chayo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robustiano Eliazar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rigoberto Astudillo came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Patay's Nicanor Padro. But to his dismay, Nicanor Padro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The Patay players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
