Saladillo's Luciano Beturian got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Suripujio FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Domingos Basualdo hit a great ball. Pastor Beltza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Lugo having to interfere. After 22 minutes, Ricardo Txindoki mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Saladillo and the Suripujio FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 22nd match minute, Saladillo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Txindoki to maneuver through the defense. Hernan Bide struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Eugenio Uhin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saladillo. 27 minutes into the game, Lino Beremundo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Saladillo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Suripujio FC the free kick. In the 27th minute, Lino Beremundo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnaldo Lugo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremias Nikola, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Arnaldo Lugo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pastor Beltza went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Pastor Beltzas short, quick shot in the 39thth minute got Arnaldo Lugo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 45 minutes into the game, Hernan Bide cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Eugenio Uhin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aureliano Ado was the one to do the kick off. Arnaldo Lugo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pastor Beltza, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. 54 minutes into the match, Suripujio FC's goalkeeper Eugenio Uhin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luciano Beturian. 56 minutes into the match, Suripujio FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hernan Bide came free, but Eugenio Uhin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute of the match Raul Iztal shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eugenio Uhin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Pastor Beltza came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Suripujio FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pastor Beltza couldn't finish the play. In the 72nd match minute, Saladillo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Txindoki to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute of the match Filomeno Beturian sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arnaldo Lugo skillfully saved the ball. Jeremias Nikola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Lugo having to interfere. The referee ignored Suripujio FC's protests and gave Domingos Basualdo a yellow card for diving instead. Domingos Basualdo hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliano Ado in the 91st minute of play forced Saladillo's goalkeeper Arnaldo Lugo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd minute of the match Leopoldo Gaufred shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arnaldo Lugo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 94 minutes, Pastor Beltza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Suripujio FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pastor Beltza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Aureliano Ado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 99 minutes into the match, Suripujio FC's Aureliano Ado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnaldo Lugo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Suripujio FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
