The Larligau fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when Larligau's Horacio Cesaro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Higinio Argenis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Cristofor in the 14th minute of play. If Horacio Cesaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. In the 29th minute, Jorge Cristofor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 89th match minute, Chancaní was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomiro Ponciano to maneuver through the defense. Gervasio Dubardo took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eustacio Umea. Eustacio Umea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Larligau's goalkeeper Higinio Argenis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jorge Cristofor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Higinio Argenis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Celestino Benet hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The Larligau supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Larligau would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
