Jeremias Guillelme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Prudencio Endura hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute of the match Florencio Egoitz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Simon Cordarrell showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 20th minute Venancio Blai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon Cordarrell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22ndth minute of the game Aristides Koldobika who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chacarita AFC's Simon Cordarrell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 24th minute, Jeremias Guillelme got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aristides Koldobika fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Cordarrell having to interfere. If Venancio Blai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hugo Lamberto's late challenge caught a Chacarita AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hugo Lamberto helped the player get up and apologised. Hugo Lamberto kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Hugo Lamberto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Simon Cordarrell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodolfo Playo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Guillelme in the 62nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Palomas FC's Isidoro Luar got a free kick in the 63rd minute. David Suero kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Simon Cordarrell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aristides Koldobika in the 66th minute. Rodolfo Playo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmiro Cebrian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 75 minutes into the game, David Suero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chacarita AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palomas FC the free kick. The supporters of Palomas FC booed when Chacarita AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Suero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Simon Cordarrell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Venancio Blai in the 77th minute of play. A collision led to Chacarita AFC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Mario Bernabel hit a great ball. Aristides Koldobika could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Simon Cordarrell made a huge save. Venancio Blai struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Simon Cordarrell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palomas FC. When Nemesio Quinten fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chacarita AFC's protests and gave Nemesio Quinten a yellow card for diving instead. 91 minutes into the match, Aristides Koldobika notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Chacarita AFC's Simon Cordarrell. Simon Cordarrell was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vinicio Sayvion hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
