After a rather tough play, Pueblito AFC's Anacleto Baraquiel got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Alfonso Santo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 4th minute, Antonio Aurre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erubiel Roderigo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cosme Lehen's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Haroldo Rafe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 12 minutes into the game, Antonio Aurre was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pueblito AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Amaná the free kick. A collision led to Pueblito AFC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Antonio Aurre hit a great ball. In the 13th minute of the match Adolfo Herauso sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Erubiel Roderigo skillfully saved the ball. Guillermo Jesco kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Ermegildo Sidoro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remigio Toro having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Pueblito AFC's zone, Alfonso Santo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erubiel Roderigo came out of the goal and Alfonso Santo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a defensive mix-up in Amaná's zone, Ermegildo Sidoro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Remigio Toro came out of the goal and Ermegildo Sidoro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 48th minute, Ermegildo Sidoro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pueblito AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ermegildo Sidoro to make the kick off. Cosme Lehen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cosme Lehen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Erubiel Roderigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th minute Alfonso Santo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erubiel Roderigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erubiel Roderigo came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Amaná's Cosme Lehen. But to his dismay, Cosme Lehen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. If Cosme Lehen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cosme Lehen struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Erubiel Roderigo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Amaná. The supporters of Amaná booed when Pueblito AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urbano Procopio didn't get a good kick on the ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
