Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Clemente Hunfredo started the match with the kick off. Maximiliano Selmo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Federico Goi in the 3rd minute. After having played for 10 minutes, Norberto Lugo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Elena FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Norberto Lugo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dalmacio Lizar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maximiliano Selmo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Seber, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute, Mauro Seber reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Maximiliano Selmo. The goal made the score 2-0. Dalmacio Lizar's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Maximiliano Selmo firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 25 played minutes Almafuerte got a freekick which was hit by Albino James. Clemente Hunfredo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mauro Seber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Maximiliano Selmo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mauro Seber in the 35th minute. Maximiliano Selmo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Seber in the 40th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mauro Seber made a kick off. In the 56th minute Mauro Seber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximiliano Selmo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maximiliano Selmo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Seber, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Dalmacio Lizar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximiliano Selmo having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Dalmacio Lizar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maximiliano Selmo was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Dalmacio Lizar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximiliano Selmo having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Almafuerte's zone, Dalmacio Lizar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximiliano Selmo came out of the goal and Dalmacio Lizar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Raul Ofelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Norberto Lugo kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Raul Ofelio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Isidro Lluques made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Almafuerte's zone, Dalmacio Lizar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximiliano Selmo came out of the goal and Dalmacio Lizar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mauro Seber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Maximiliano Selmo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bartolo Romo during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bartolo Romo hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Almafuerte's Maximiliano Selmo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabio Errapel in the 92nd minute of play. If Raul Ofelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Almafuerte booed when Elena FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabio Errapel didn't get a good kick on the ball.
