Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Bonifacio Tiadoro made the kick off which started today's match. If Abelardo Quiroga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfonso Montrell made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Haroldo Alonso sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Gilberto Frederik managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sayaco's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilberto Frederik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aristides Luken breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 16th minute, Haroldo Alonso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With an all-out effort, Perchel's Alfonso Montrell threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bonifacio Tiadoro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 20 minutes into the game, Higinio Guifre was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Perchel's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sayaco the free kick. In the 21st minute of the match Gaudencio Abadie shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aristides Luken showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Amancio Delfino charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amancio Delfino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 27th minute, Amancio Delfino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gilberto Frederik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Aristides Luken tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bonifacio Tiadoro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonso Montrell having to interfere. 37 minutes into the game, Abelardo Quiroga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Aristides Luken was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gilberto Frederik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aristides Luken having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abelardo Quiroga to make the kick off. If Haroldo Alonso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Braulio Magdaleno hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. When Haroldo Alonso came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Perchel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Haroldo Alonso couldn't finish the play. Haroldo Alonso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Perchel's goalkeeper Aristides Luken, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 67 minutes into the game, Jeremias Balendin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sayaco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Perchel the free kick. A collision led to Sayaco getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Jeremias Balendin hit a great ball. Abelardo Quiroga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aristides Luken made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gilberto Frederik in the 76th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Perchel's zone, Gilberto Frederik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aristides Luken came out of the goal and Gilberto Frederik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aristides Luken made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Gilberto Frederik sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 94 minutes, Bonifacio Tiadoro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Perchel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bonifacio Tiadoro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
