After a defensive mix-up in Chazón AFC's zone, Laureano Quinton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafael Gaxan came out of the goal and Laureano Quinton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 8 minutes into the game, Victoria's Damian Herrera nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rafael Gaxan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 15th minute Laureano Quinton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Gaxan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute, Damian Herrera left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Victoria fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. When Benjamin Cordarell came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Chazón AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benjamin Cordarell couldn't finish the play. In the 26th minute Laureano Quinton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Gaxan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Laureano Quinton stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Laureano Quinton's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rafael Gaxan was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Ivan Firman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Victoria's Damian Herrera, in the 69th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Victoria. If Benjamin Cordarell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victoria's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
