The supporters of Palmar AFC booed when Jaramillo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albino Oto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matias Beltran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Apolo Kimetz, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After 20 played minutes Palmar AFC got a freekick which was hit by Gaudencio Vidal. 21 minutes into the match, Lino Vela sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Benicio Hermon threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Lino Vela this time. Apolo Kimetz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Matias Beltran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eriberto Madeo took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Matias Beltran. Matias Beltran dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Apolo Kimetz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benicio Hermon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edelmiro Beti in the 48th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edelmiro Beti made a kick off. Edelmiro Beti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benicio Hermon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eloy Eudoxio in the 56th minute of the match. Benicio Hermon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 84th minute of the match Laureano Roano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Matias Beltran showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Joel Millan charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joel Millan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 88 played minutes Jaramillo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Joel Millan. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Palmar AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
