Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Pirané's Marco Ipar started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eloy Eudoxio in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnulfo Rey saved Pirané from getting behind. Arnulfo Rey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eloy Eudoxio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matias Beltran made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Cleto Aguilera sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eloy Eudoxio in the 11th minute of play forced Pirané's goalkeeper Arnulfo Rey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Edelmiro Beti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eloy Eudoxio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Arnulfo Rey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Marco Ipar fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 40 minutes into the match, Jaramillo AFC's goalkeeper Matias Beltran had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cleto Aguilera. After 42 minutes, Cleto Aguilera made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Jaramillo AFC's Matias Beltran tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In a very dangerous position, a player in Jaramillo AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 45th minute. Penalty! 2-0 came through a penalty shot after 47 played minutes, when Pirané:s Geronimo Brion calmly waited for Jaramillo AFC:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edelmiro Beti stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cleto Aguilera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eloy Eudoxio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Arnulfo Rey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matias Beltran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cleto Aguilera in the 57th minute of the match. Marco Ipar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eloy Eudoxio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Arnulfo Rey made a huge save. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jaramillo AFC's goalkeeper Matias Beltran, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cleto Aguilera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 69 minutes into the game, Teofilo Mattin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pirané's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jaramillo AFC the free kick. The supporters of Jaramillo AFC booed when Pirané was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teofilo Mattin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matias Beltran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Ipar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 73 minutes into the match, Marco Ipar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Matias Beltran. Jaramillo AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marco Ipar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Teofilo Mattin was shown his second yellow card after 77 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After having played for 84 minutes, Cleto Aguilera managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pirané's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cleto Aguilera was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Severiano Rutenio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Matias Beltran having to make a save. Cleto Aguilera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marco Ipar struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Matias Beltran didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pirané. Cleto Aguilera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Angelo Emesto came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Pirané fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angelo Emesto couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Jaramillo AFC's zone, Cleto Aguilera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matias Beltran came out of the goal and Cleto Aguilera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pirané walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
