Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Palmar AFC's Eriberto Madeo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Ipar in the 4th minute of play forced Palmar AFC's goalkeeper Benicio Hermon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pirané's Carolo Oier shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 6th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Benicio Hermon but with some difficulty. After 9 minutes, Teofilo Mattin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pirané and the Palmar AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 9th minute, Teofilo Mattin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th minute, Eriberto Madeo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Domingo Liberto during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 14 played minutes Pirané got a freekick which was hit by Domingo Liberto. Arnulfo Rey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eriberto Madeo in the 19th minute of the match. Eriberto Madeo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Arnulfo Rey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Palmar AFC's Benicio Hermon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Palmar AFC from getting a goal against them. Apolo Kimetz struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Arnulfo Rey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palmar AFC. 29 minutes into the game, Marco Ipar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pirané's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palmar AFC the free kick. The supporters of Palmar AFC booed when Pirané was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Ipar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cleto Aguilera's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Benicio Hermon firmly grabbed it by the left post. Cleto Aguilera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Cleto Aguilera came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Pirané fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cleto Aguilera couldn't finish the play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marco Ipar to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Cleto Aguilera got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Cleto Aguilera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 67 minutes into the game, Marco Ipar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Benicio Hermon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The attack was good, but when Marco Ipar in the 73rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. When Cleto Aguilera came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Pirané fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cleto Aguilera couldn't finish the play. Marco Ipar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benicio Hermon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. A collision led to Palmar AFC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Luciano Platon hit a great ball. After 84 minutes, Eloy Lano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Palmar AFC and the Pirané players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 84th match minute, Palmar AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eloy Lano to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Pirané's Geronimo Brion tried to score from far away in the 85th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Eriberto Madeo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnulfo Rey having to interfere. Cleto Aguilera blasted a shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benicio Hermon having to make a save.
