Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nestor Santikurtz took the kick off in the first half of the match. Santiago Hug's late challenge caught a Huasán's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Santiago Hug helped the player get up and apologised. Santiago Hug kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. After 8 played minutes, Azucena's Roberto Bixintxo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Godfredo Lehoi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Azucena reached it. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Azucena's goalkeeper Timoteo Mannie, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Huasán's Godfredo Lehoi got control of the ball when Ivan Hodei tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Ivan Hodei put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Godfredo Lehoi. When Ivan Hodei came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Azucena fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivan Hodei couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Modesto Damario in the 45th minute of play forced Huasán's goalkeeper Godfredo Lehoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
The wind increased when Modesto Damario made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Azucena's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Braulio Lia fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Ivan Hodei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Azucena's Modesto Damario got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Braulio Lia came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Huasán fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Braulio Lia couldn't finish the play. In the 63rd match minute, Azucena was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santiago Hug to maneuver through the defense. Nestor Santikurtz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Timoteo Mannie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Modesto Damario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Godfredo Lehoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, Huasán's goal looked a bit too open when Modesto Damario came free, but Godfredo Lehoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Azucena booed when Huasán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquin Rey didn't get a good kick on the ball. 80 minutes into the game, Ivan Hodei cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Godfredo Lehoi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ivan Hodei might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Godfredo Lehoi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ivan Hodei ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Azucena fans cheered their team off the field, for while Huasán had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
