Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aquilino Montez started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Domingo Caetano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Soledad's supporters rose to their feet, but Domingo Caetano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nestor Quintyn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aquilino Montez in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nestor Quintyn saved Palomitas from getting behind. After having played for 11 minutes, Modesto Nayely managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palomitas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Modesto Nayely was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 13 minutes into the match, Tomás Montay had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Severino Daunte. Soledad's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomás Montay was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Aquilino Montez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Nestor Quintyn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Domingo Caetano fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Soledad's protests and gave Domingo Caetano a yellow card for diving instead. In the 26th minute, Domingo Caetano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomás Montay's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Severino Daunte read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Palomitas's zone, Aquilino Montez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nestor Quintyn came out of the goal and Aquilino Montez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Domingo Caetano succeeded in the game's 38th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Modesto Nayely was the one to do the kick off. When Hermengildo Vidal came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Palomitas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hermengildo Vidal couldn't finish the play. In the 88th match minute, Palomitas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filiberto Sandaili to maneuver through the defense. After 90 played minutes Palomitas got a freekick which was hit by Alonzo Benet. If Aquilino Montez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nestor Quintyn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquilino Montez, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Baltasar Mannuel kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Soledad were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
