Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jairo Hernando started the match with the kick off. Ducós's Hermengildo Gonzalez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremias Matthew in the 5th minute of play. In the 6th minute Jeremias Matthew shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermengildo Gonzalez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mauricio Maria hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Ducós defense, Leopoldo Cordarrol kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hermengildo Gonzalez. The Ducós fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hermengildo Gonzalez should have stopped the shot. After having played for 14 minutes, Jairo Hernando managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ducós's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jairo Hernando was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Jairo Hernando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hermengildo Gonzalez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Cordarrol in the 19th minute of the match. Arbolito FC's Paulino Walme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo Hernando in the 27th minute of play. After 28 minutes, Joaquin Abalos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ducós and the Arbolito FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Paulino Walme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Hernando in the 31st minute of play. Hermengildo Gonzalez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Matthew in the 34th minute of play. If Leopoldo Cordarrol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute, Romulo Bertran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jeremias Matthew stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Ducós's goalkeeper Hermengildo Gonzalez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leopoldo Cordarrol. Hermengildo Gonzalez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremias Matthew, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremias Matthew in the 62nd minute of play forced Ducós's goalkeeper Hermengildo Gonzalez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulino Walme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jairo Hernando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Jeremias Matthew came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Arbolito FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeremias Matthew couldn't finish the play. In the 72nd match minute, Ducós was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquin Abalos to maneuver through the defense. If Jairo Hernando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ducós's Hermengildo Gonzalez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremias Matthew in the 79th minute of play. Leopoldo Cordarrol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Hermengildo Gonzalez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Denis Chuan hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Atilano Frisco kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Leopoldo Cordarrol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Hermengildo Gonzalez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Arbolito FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
