The Cieneguita fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The audience was convinced that Marcial Innocenzio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nemesio Guerau was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. 65 minutes into the match, Ignacio Ponciano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gaston Vergaray. Bicha's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cieneguita the free kick. If Israel Joachim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute, Bicha's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Israel Joachim fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When the final whistle sounded Cieneguita left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Bicha.
