Isidro Bidari yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. A collision led to Clausurada AFC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Elvio Jerold hit a great ball. Cieneguita's Eugenio Primo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 17th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Clausurada AFC. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Flavio Emeterio during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 20 played minutes Clausurada AFC got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Emeterio. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Marcial Innocenzio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cieneguita's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcial Innocenzio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isidro Bidari breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 24th minute Marcial Innocenzio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidro Bidari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Cieneguita's goal looked a bit too open when Desiderio Papo came free, but Gaston Vergaray reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cieneguita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Israel Joachim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Clausurada AFC's goalkeeper Isidro Bidari, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 49 minutes into the game, Abelardo Llin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Gaston Vergaray was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abelardo Llin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Isidro Bidari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcial Innocenzio in the 57th minute of play. Isidro Bidari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcial Innocenzio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Clausurada AFC's Isidro Bidari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Israel Joachim in the 91st minute of play. Isidro Bidari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcial Innocenzio in the 92nd minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
