The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Centro booed when Medina AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. The supporters of Medina AFC booed when Centro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Abadia didn't get a good kick on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Efrain Castulo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amador Montrell in the 69th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amador Montrell got free with Efrain Castulo in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 72 minutes, Jonatan Abecia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Medina AFC and the Centro players grew even worse after the yellow card. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
