The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hilario Baldovino helped the player get up and apologised. Hilario Baldovino hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haroldo Etxepare in the 8th minute of play forced Talva's goalkeeper Inocencio Jon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Haroldo Etxepare struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Inocencio Jon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saavedra. Saavedra's Rogelio Regis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramiro Urtsua in the 18th minute of play. Haroldo Etxepare received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Inocencio Jon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 24 minutes, Haroldo Etxepare managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saavedra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Haroldo Etxepare was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Talva booed when Saavedra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anier Iraitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rogelio Regis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adriana Breogan went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 38th minute, Talva's Ramiro Urtsua dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Emiliano Pasqual kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ceferino Bortzaioriz was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Ceferino Bortzaioriz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inocencio Jon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Talva getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Hilario Baldovino hit a great ball. After having played for 54 minutes, Haroldo Etxepare managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saavedra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Haroldo Etxepare was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 57th minute, Saavedra's Ceferino Bortzaioriz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Inocencio Jon. Inocencio Jon yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Talva's Adriana Breogan got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Talva's Inocencio Jon got control of the ball when Haroldo Etxepare tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 67th match minute, Talva was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Abeijon to maneuver through the defense. Talva's Inocencio Jon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ceferino Bortzaioriz in the 68th minute of play. Haroldo Etxepare scored 2-2 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Inocencio Jon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Talva defense, Haroldo Etxepare kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Inocencio Jon. The Talva fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Inocencio Jon should have stopped the shot. After 82 minutes, Haroldo Etxepare mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Saavedra and the Talva players grew even worse after the yellow card. Haroldo Etxepare kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Adriana Breogan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 88 minutes into the match, Saavedra's goal looked a bit too open when Ramiro Urtsua came free, but Rogelio Regis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Talva fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Saavedra were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
