Celestino Clemencin made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Tiburcio Reyes sent off a good shot on target. 14 minutes into the match, Tastil's goal looked a bit too open when Bartolo Ur came free, but Placido Tulio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tastil's Tiburcio Reyes got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bartolo Ur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute Bartolo Ur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Placido Tulio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Bartolo Ur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bartolo Ur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Placido Tulio having to interfere. Placido Tulio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolo Ur in the 34th minute of play. Bartolo Ur struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Placido Tulio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pailemán. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Cornelio Harri in the 51st minute of play forced Tastil's goalkeeper Placido Tulio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Celestino Clemencin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiburcio Reyes in the 54th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Fidel Maurino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 65 minutes, Bartolo Ur made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Tastil's Placido Tulio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Tastil getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Haroldo Xabel hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ambrosio Eder got free with Placido Tulio in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ciro Leheren took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 87th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Celestino Clemencin. Pailemán's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Placido Tulio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartolo Ur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tastil's Placido Tulio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartolo Ur in the 92nd minute of play. 92 minutes into the game, Aristides Jaume was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tastil's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pailemán the free kick. The supporters of Pailemán booed when Tastil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aristides Jaume didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Tastil's zone, Bartolo Ur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Placido Tulio came out of the goal and Bartolo Ur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
