The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ramiro Mitxaut showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from German Banegas, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. German Banegas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 20 minutes, Emiliano Xacintu made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Tapas FC's Clemente Platon tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Emiliano Xacintu struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Clemente Platon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ramírez. Maximiliano Asteri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when German Banegas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Rodolfo Tavio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tapas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodolfo Tavio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. It was beautiful to see Tapas FC's Abel Euloxu in action when he in the 57th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. Hernan Gaxan stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Clemente Platon. 2-0. Abel Euloxu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 73rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ramiro Mitxaut. Ramírez's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Tapas FC booed when Ramírez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cornelio Erroman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling German Banegas in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ramiro Mitxaut prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rodolfo Tavio struck a weak shot in the 76th minute.
