Tapas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but German Banegas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joaquin Fertus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Clemente Platon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. German Banegas struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Ciriaco Su didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tapas FC. If Joaquin Fertus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 22 minutes, Adan Santos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Durazno AFC and the Tapas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Adan Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Fulgencio Goiz hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Clemente Platon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Froilan Lorenz in the 26th minute of the match. Agustin Nafarroa's late challenge caught a Durazno AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Agustin Nafarroa helped the player get up and apologised. After 29 played minutes Tapas FC got a freekick which was hit by Agustin Nafarroa. The audience was convinced that Froilan Lorenz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Clemente Platon was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Joaquin Fertus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 33 minutes into the match, Tapas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Froilan Lorenz came free, but Clemente Platon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Clemente Platon managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when Durazno AFC's Joaquin Fertus fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The crowd rose to their feet as Froilan Lorenz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Clemente Platon. That made the score 1-0 in the 35 minute of play. After 44 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Tapas FC!

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Froilan Lorenz to strike the kick off in the second half. German Banegas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ciriaco Su read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Ciriaco Su made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Rodolfo Tavio sent off a good shot on target. Ciriaco Su took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from German Banegas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by German Banegas in the 65th minute of play forced Durazno AFC's goalkeeper Ciriaco Su to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Tapas FC's German Banegas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ciriaco Su. That made the score 2-1 after 68 minutes of play. Jacobo Burutzagi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemente Platon having to interfere. After having played for 78 minutes, Froilan Lorenz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After a defensive mix-up in Tapas FC's zone, Joaquin Fertus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clemente Platon came out of the goal and Joaquin Fertus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Clemente Platon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joaquin Fertus's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Clemente Platon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Froilan Lorenz in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Rodolfo Tavio made a precise shot to the right of Ciriaco Su. Durazno AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Froilan Lorenz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Durazno AFC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
