Jaramillo AFC's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, Jaramillo AFC's Prudencio Urritz got a free kick in the 8th minute. Honorio Sesuldo came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Sumamao AFC's Silvestre Normando. But to his dismay, Silvestre Normando quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Andres Nikola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Ismael Endura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd match minute, Jaramillo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andres Nikola to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute, Andres Nikola fired away a hard free kick towards the goal. Ismael Endura moved to his left, but didn't have to make a save as the ball went out of bounds. A hard shot by Ildefonso Martinez from long distance, 24 minutes into the match, got Honorio Sesuldo's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. A collision led to Jaramillo AFC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Prudencio Urritz hit a great ball. Jaramillo AFC's Honorio Sesuldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Elivareo in the 27th minute of play. The supporters of Sumamao AFC booed when Jaramillo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernesto Vigil didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Sumamao AFC's zone, Andres Nikola stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ismael Endura came out of the goal and Andres Nikola tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Christian Elivareo struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Honorio Sesuldo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sumamao AFC. Andres Nikola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Endura having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Baldomero Dacio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Baldomero Dacio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcelino Vigil hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Andres Nikola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Ismael Endura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Baldomero Dacio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jaramillo AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Baldomero Dacio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ismael Endura breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Baldomero Dacio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Endura having to interfere. Ismael Endura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baldomero Dacio, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Christian Elivareo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Honorio Sesuldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andres Nikola struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Ismael Endura didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jaramillo AFC. In the 91st minute Silvestre Normando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorio Sesuldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baldomero Dacio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ismael Endura was a little too slow when Andres Nikola got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 96th minute. The score was now 1-1. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
