Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Hernando's Leon Goren started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Eliseo Primeiro was out of position in the 3 minute of play, and Gaudencio Xabat capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gaudencio Xabat really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 10 minutes into the match, Hernando's goal looked a bit too open when Silvano Umea came free, but Celso Artizar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eliseo Primeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Goren in the 12th minute of the match. When Samuel Macias fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rawson's protests and gave Samuel Macias a yellow card for diving instead. Hernando's Gaudencio Xabat got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leon Goren in the 28th minute of play forced Rawson's goalkeeper Eliseo Primeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 33 minutes, Leon Goren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hernando's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leon Goren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eliseo Primeiro made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Gaudencio Xabat sent off a good shot on target. In the 36th minute, Inocencio Chale ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Celso Artizar was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. If Silvano Umea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Hernando booed when Rawson was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Macias didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Hernando's Atilano Honesto tried to score from far away in the 46th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Silvano Umea to strike the kick off in the second half. Eliseo Primeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaudencio Xabat, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Inocencio Chale could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Celso Artizar made a huge save. Inocencio Chale recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 61st minute, Leon Goren made a precise shot to the right of Eliseo Primeiro. Rawson's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Rawson's zone, Leon Goren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eliseo Primeiro came out of the goal and Leon Goren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Celso Artizar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvano Umea in the 70th minute of the match. A collision led to Hernando getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Esteve Pello hit a great ball. Eliseo Primeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaudencio Xabat, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. 92 minutes into the match, Hernando's Leon Goren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eliseo Primeiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Rawson players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Hernando.
