Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Marcelino Eleazar kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the match, Julian Egoitz notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Atahona's Victorio Oinaz. Victorio Oinaz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Abel Sanduru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 10th minute, Baldomero Danel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 12 minutes into the game, Atahona's Marcelino Benitez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ciriaco Avellaneda made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Julian Egoitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Victorio Oinaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Pringles's Victor Muno got a free kick in the 20th minute. If Marcelino Benitez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Salvador Handi hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute, Marcelino Eleazar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abel Sanduru in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victorio Oinaz saved Atahona from getting behind. In the 33rd minute, Marcelino Eleazar fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ciriaco Avellaneda, passed just outside the right post. Ciriaco Avellaneda made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Marcelino Benitez sent off a good shot on target. When Julian Egoitz came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Pringles fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julian Egoitz couldn't finish the play. Abel Sanduru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Pringles fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 39th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Ciriaco Avellaneda, was totally fooled by Atahona's Dante Cerilo, who 41 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Atahona's Marcelino Benitez got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcelino Benitez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Julian Egoitz to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Julian Egoitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victorio Oinaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 55 played minutes Pringles got a freekick which was hit by Victor Muno. 56 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Atahona's Marcelino Benitez fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. In the 60th minute Atahona were awarded a corner. Dante Cerilo went to the cornerflag to take it. After having played for 64 minutes, Marcelino Benitez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atahona's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcelino Benitez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 68th minute, Marcelino Benitez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ciriaco Avellaneda was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. After 72 played minutes Atahona got a freekick which was hit by Serafino Celino. Ciriaco Avellaneda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelino Benitez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Marcelino Benitez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ciriaco Avellaneda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelino Benitez in the 82nd minute of play. After 86 played minutes Atahona got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Benat. In the 87th minute of the match Gualterio Oro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Victorio Oinaz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Julian Egoitz came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Pringles fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julian Egoitz couldn't finish the play. Abel Sanduru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorio Oinaz having to interfere. Marcelino Benitez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pringles's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
