Delmiro Oto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nemesio Edwardo's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Humberto Florin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Prejun, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Angostura's Ivan Prejun sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Humberto Florin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 40 minutes into the game, Angostura's Ivan Prejun nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
