If Saverio Selmo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 8th minute of the match, Saturnino Caitano tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Teodoro Lastur saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Conrado Matia hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. The long shot by Aurelio Mantzio in the 11th minute really tested Teodoro Lastur's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. A collision led to Cafferata getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Conrado Matia hit a great ball. Matias Balendins short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Teodoro Lastur to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 22 minutes, Clemente Kaiet mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cafferata and the Ostende players grew even worse after the yellow card. Clemente Kaiet hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute Saturnino Caitano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodoro Lastur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 25 minutes, Matias Balendin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ostende's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matias Balendin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Saturnino Caitano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodoro Lastur having to interfere. Matias Balendins short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Teodoro Lastur to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Cafferata's Conrado Matia got a free kick in the 30th minute. Teodoro Lastur made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Matias Balendin sent off a good shot on target. Saverio Selmo struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Aurelio Francesco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cafferata. Aurelio Francesco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Quintun, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 37 minutes into the game, Prospero Sengrat was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ostende's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cafferata the free kick. The supporters of Cafferata booed when Ostende was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prospero Sengrat didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saturnino Caitano struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Teodoro Lastur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ostende. Saturnino Caitano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Saverio Selmo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Saturnino Caitano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 59thth minute of the game Saturnino Caitano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cafferata's Teodoro Lastur was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saturnino Caitano in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teodoro Lastur saved Cafferata from getting behind. After 59 played minutes Cafferata got a freekick which was hit by Conrado Matia. 61 minutes into the match, Ostende's Matias Balendin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teodoro Lastur narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cafferata's Teodoro Lastur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saturnino Caitano in the 65th minute of play. Lucas Quintun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Francesco having to interfere. Cafferata's Teodoro Lastur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saturnino Caitano in the 77th minute of play. Ostende's Matias Balendin pulled a muscle in his leg after 79 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 80 minutes into the game, Tobias Oliverios was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cafferata's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ostende the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cafferata fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 79th minute. Penalty! Ostende's Aurelio Francesco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saverio Selmo in the 85th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Saverio Selmo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 91 minutes into the match, Denis Patrido sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Aurelio Francesco threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Denis Patrido this time. Lucas Quintun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aurelio Francesco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Raimundo Saturnin's late challenge caught a Cafferata's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raimundo Saturnin helped the player get up and apologised. Raimundo Saturnin kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. After having played for 99 minutes, Saverio Selmo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cafferata's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saverio Selmo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ostende fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cafferata had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
