When the match had been going on for 7 minutes, Rumios's Epifanio Hever got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Bartolo Etor. Celedonio Liberto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lisandro Ostadar, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Abel Boniel might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bartolo Etor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abel Boniel ran back to his position shaking his head. When Rumios's Alvaro Qwinton in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Caldenadas's goalie prevented a goal. Abel Boniel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abel Boniel got free with Bartolo Etor in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bartolo Etor was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Abel Boniel showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 27 minute of play. A collision led to Caldenadas getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Benedicto Ospin hit a great ball. In the 35th minute, Guido Mannuel made a precise shot to the right of Celedonio Liberto. Rumios's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Celedonio Liberto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lisandro Ostadar in the 39th minute of play. After 46 minutes, Guido Mannuel made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Rumios's Celedonio Liberto tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lisandro Ostadar to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Caldenadas's zone, Hugo Valiente stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bartolo Etor came out of the goal and Hugo Valiente tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guido Mannuel got free with Celedonio Liberto in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Abel Boniel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute, Abel Boniel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rumios fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. After 74 played minutes Caldenadas got a freekick which was hit by Delmar Chus. Alvaro Qwinton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abel Boniel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Bartolo Etor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alvaro Qwinton struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Bartolo Etor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rumios. Delmar Chus kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Leonides Lawrence took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 82nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bartolo Etor. Caldenadas's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After having played for 88 minutes, Alvaro Qwinton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rumios's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alvaro Qwinton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 90 minutes, Alvaro Qwinton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Caldenadas players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Rumios.
