Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Isidoro Bakar started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Abaurre in the 4th minute of play forced Guañizuil 's goalkeeper Herminio Ado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th match minute, Mecoyita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaspar Eriz to maneuver through the defense. Zacarias Jayvier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Bakar in the 8th minute of play. Isidoro Bakar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After recieving a nice pass, Guañizuil 's Hector Laffitte tried to score from far away in the 15th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 16th minute Isidoro Bakar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Jayvier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute, Feliciano Petri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Jorge Abaurre came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Mecoyita fans jumped to their feet. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Isidro Serapio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guañizuil 's supporters rose to their feet, but Isidro Serapio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zacarias Jayvier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Isidro Serapio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Zacarias Jayvier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Sotero in the 45th minute of play. When Cornelio Fertus was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 45 minutes had been played. A collision led to Mecoyita getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Cornelio Fertus hit a great ball. Zacarias Jayvier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidro Serapio in the 48th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Silvio Chumo was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Guañizuil booed when Mecoyita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Abaurre didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mecoyita's Zacarias Jayvier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Mecoyita from getting a goal against them. After 72 minutes, Gaspar Eriz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mecoyita and the Guañizuil players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Mecoyita getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Gaspar Eriz hit a great ball. In the 76th minute of the match Hector Laffitte sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zacarias Jayvier skillfully saved the ball. In the 78th minute of the match, Isidro Serapio got a very nice opportunity to score, but Zacarias Jayvier was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Isidoro Bakar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Guañizuil 's goalkeeper Herminio Ado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Mecoyita's zone, Isidro Serapio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zacarias Jayvier came out of the goal and Isidro Serapio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 88 played minutes Guañizuil got a freekick which was hit by Silvestre Gomesano. After a defensive mix-up in Mecoyita's zone, Isidro Serapio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zacarias Jayvier came out of the goal and Isidro Serapio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
