Feliciano Petri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Guillelme having to interfere. After 17 minutes of play, Guañizuil 's Isidro Serapio made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ivan Guillelme was left in no man's land by his defense there! Silvestre Gomesano charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Ivan Guillelme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidro Serapio, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Ivan Guillelme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Bakar in the 28th minute of the match. After 30 played minutes Guañizuil got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Sotero. Ivan Guillelme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Bakar in the 40th minute of play.
