Isidro Enekoitz came out of the goal and Ismael Rutenio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 12 minutes into the game, Corcovado FC's Artemio Senon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Isidro Enekoitz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The supporters of Ambul FC booed when Corcovado FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clodoveo Salbatore didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Corcovado FC's goal looked a bit too open when Santos Benat came free, but Zeledon Fero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th play minute Reynaldo Niva came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Zeledon Fero. 1-2. In the 24th minute Ismael Rutenio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidro Enekoitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Ambul FC defense, Artemio Senon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isidro Enekoitz. The Ambul FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isidro Enekoitz should have stopped the shot. Santos Benat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Fero having to interfere. In the 35th minute of the match, Reynaldo Niva got a very nice opportunity to score, but Zeledon Fero was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Ismael Rutenio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidro Enekoitz having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artemio Senon in the 38th minute of play forced Ambul FC's goalkeeper Isidro Enekoitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd match minute, Corcovado FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clodoveo Salbatore to maneuver through the defense. Reynaldo Niva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Fero having to interfere. Reynaldo Niva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Artemio Senon was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Ambul FC booed when Corcovado FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artemio Senon didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Artemio Senon got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for Corcovado FC. Artemio Senon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 59 minutes into the match, Ismael Rutenio notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Ambul FC's Isidro Enekoitz. Isidro Enekoitz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Marcelino Arixo fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Corcovado FC's protests and gave Marcelino Arixo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 64th minute, Marcelino Arixo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Ambul FC booed when Corcovado FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clodoveo Salbatore didn't get a good kick on the ball. Corcovado FC's Zeledon Fero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reynaldo Niva in the 67th minute of play. Reynaldo Niva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Zeledon Fero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isidro Enekoitz made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Ismael Rutenio sent off a good shot on target. If Santos Benat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute.
