Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Fernando Justin took the kick off in the first half of the match. Nunez Pacifico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nemesio Guifre having to interfere. In the 8th match minute, Santurce was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natalio Peruanton to maneuver through the defense. 11 minutes into the match, Santurce's goal looked a bit too open when Inocencio Venerando came free, but Nemesio Guifre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nemesio Guifre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inocencio Venerando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th minute Inocencio Venerando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nemesio Guifre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Saladillo's Fabian Benitez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Justin in the 18th minute of play. Fernando Justin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fabian Benitez came out and tried to block the shot, but Fernando Justin slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 19th minute. Alberto Abajas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Fabian Benitez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Nunez Pacifico got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Inocencio Venerando in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nemesio Guifre prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Inocencio Venerando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabian Benitez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Justin in the 41st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Justin in the 42nd minute of play forced Saladillo's goalkeeper Fabian Benitez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Santurce's Emiliano Primo got a free kick in the 46th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Inocencio Venerando to make the kick off. Santurce's Nemesio Guifre proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Santurce from getting a goal against them. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Santurce's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cayetano Franco was slow to take the kick. During this time Saladillo's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Saladillo's Cayetano Franco to fire away a dangerous shot which Nemesio Guifre despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Natalio Peruanton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th match minute, Saladillo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvano Avellaneda to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute, Inocencio Argider hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 70 minutes, Cayetano Franco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saladillo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cayetano Franco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 73 minutes, Nemesio Guifre successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After having played for 74 minutes, Alberto Abajas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santurce's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Abajas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Saladillo's Ramon Hanni got a free kick in the 75th minute. The audience was convinced that Alberto Abajas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabian Benitez was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Fabian Benitez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Justin, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After a rather tough play, Santurce's Inocencio Argider got a free kick in the 84th minute. Inocencio Venerando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nemesio Guifre having to interfere. Inocencio Venerando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Santurce getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Emiliano Primo hit a great ball. Santurce were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
