Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Santurce's Fernando Justin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th minute Delmiro Hodei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nemesio Guifre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute, Inocencio Argider hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th match minute, Santurce was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natalio Peruanton to maneuver through the defense. Americo Arotza was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 16th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After having played for 17 minutes, Basilio Godoy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Apayerey AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Basilio Godoy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Natalio Peruanton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Justo Bazil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Basilio Godoy scored 1-0 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nemesio Guifre, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 36th minute, Basilio Godoy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Delmiro Hodei recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Basilio Godoy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Nemesio Guifre made a huge save. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Delmiro Hodei to strike the kick off in the second half. Apayerey AFC's Melquiades Bide got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Justo Bazil made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Alberto Abajas sent off a good shot on target. When Romeo Tulio fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Apayerey AFC's protests and gave Romeo Tulio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 59th match minute, Apayerey AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeo Tulio to maneuver through the defense. Alberto Abajas struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Justo Bazil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santurce. Fernando Justin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 79 minutes into the game, Melquiades Bide was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Apayerey AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Santurce the free kick. After a rather tough play, Apayerey AFC's Melquiades Bide got a free kick in the 80th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Santurce's Inocencio Argider broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Alberto Abajas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justo Bazil having to interfere. Justo Bazil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Justin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute, Fernando Justin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Delmiro Hodei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Nemesio Guifre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Apayerey AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Santurce had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
