Latero's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pucará FC the free kick. Amancio Urtats didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pucará FC. In the 18thth minute of the game Saturnino Santana who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Latero's Amancio Urtats was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Cirilo Gimenez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Latero's Amancio Urtats played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saturnino Santana in the 23rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saturnino Santana in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amancio Urtats saved Latero from getting behind. Francisco Edwardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eulalio Chorche, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Eulalio Chorche struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Francisco Edwardo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Latero. The audience was convinced that Eulalio Chorche's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Francisco Edwardo was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. After 50 minutes of play, Latero's Eulalio Chorche made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Francisco Edwardo was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Pucará FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Latero were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Haroldo Cortez to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Cirilo Gimenez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amancio Urtats was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. 58 minutes into the match, Saturnino Santana had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amancio Urtats. Latero's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Saturnino Santana was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Eulalio Chorche could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Francisco Edwardo made a huge save. Eulalio Chorche took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Francisco Edwardo. Francisco Edwardo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. 84 minutes into the match, Latero's goal looked a bit too open when Cirilo Gimenez came free, but Amancio Urtats reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Latero's Amancio Urtats played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saturnino Santana in the 90th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Marco Quintun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Haroldo Cortez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Francisco Edwardo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eulalio Chorche went, in the 100th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Latero had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
