Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Baltasar Mattin kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Jaramillo booed when Payogasta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvador Calvino didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 6th match minute, Payogasta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ariel Olo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltasar Mattin in the 10th minute of play forced Jaramillo's goalkeeper Amador Laurentzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mateo Eneto charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mateo Eneto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Payogasta's Mateo Eneto got a free kick in the 12th minute. Payogasta's Paolo Henry played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartolo Azevedo in the 13th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Ernesto Ramone managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jaramillo's supporters rose to their feet, but Ernesto Ramone was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paolo Henry breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 23rd minute, Bartolo Azevedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ernesto Ramone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paolo Henry having to interfere. After 38 minutes of play, Jaramillo's Bartolo Azevedo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paolo Henry was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jaramillo's Amador Laurentzi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Jaramillo from getting a goal against them. Cesar Taurino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amador Laurentzi having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Jaramillo's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Luisito Roderigo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
Jaramillo's Ernesto Ramone got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Ernesto Ramone came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Jaramillo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernesto Ramone couldn't finish the play. Ernesto Ramone might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paolo Henry. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ernesto Ramone ran back to his position shaking his head. When Payogasta's Luisito Roderigo in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jaramillo's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Baltasar Mattin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amador Laurentzi was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Ernesto Ramone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paolo Henry having to interfere.
