Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bartolo Azevedo started the match with the kick off. Jaramillo's Amador Laurentzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saturnino Santana in the 4th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Saturnino Santana in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amador Laurentzi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Pucará FC's Francisco Edwardo got control of the ball when Ernesto Ramone tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bartolo Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Edwardo having to interfere. Francisco Edwardo came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Jaramillo's Fabricio Lop. But to his dismay, Fabricio Lop quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. If Ernesto Ramone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francisco Edwardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartolo Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jaramillo's Ernesto Ramone got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Pucará FC's Delmiro Estevez got a free kick in the 27th minute. When Pucará FC's Saturnino Santana in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jaramillo's goalie prevented a goal. Ernesto Ramone could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Francisco Edwardo made a huge save. The supporters of Pucará FC booed when Jaramillo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernesto Ramone didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ernesto Ramone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Francisco Edwardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Jaramillo's Francisco Edwardo threw himself towards the right post 40 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bartolo Azevedo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 40 minutes into the match, Bartolo Azevedo notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Pucará FC's Francisco Edwardo. Francisco Edwardo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 45 minutes into the match, Jaramillo's goal looked a bit too open when Saturnino Santana came free, but Amador Laurentzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Saturnino Santana to make the kick off. Cirilo Gimenez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 56 minutes into the game, Baltasar Deunoro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pucará FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jaramillo the free kick. After 56 played minutes Pucará FC got a freekick which was hit by Baltasar Deunoro. If Saturnino Santana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Cirilo Gimenez came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Pucará FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cirilo Gimenez couldn't finish the play. In the 65th minute Bartolo Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Edwardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Francisco Edwardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartolo Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th match minute, Jaramillo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartolo Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. Amador Laurentzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cirilo Gimenez in the 71st minute of the match. If Ernesto Ramone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute, Robustiano Bieito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 79 played minutes Pucará FC got a freekick which was hit by Baltasar Deunoro. Bartolo Azevedo struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Francisco Edwardo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jaramillo. When Bartolo Azevedo came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Jaramillo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bartolo Azevedo couldn't finish the play. Saturnino Santana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 93rd minute, Fabricio Lop hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With splendid footwork Saturnino Santana arrived in front of goal to shoot 2-1 by the left pole in the game's 94th minute. Pucará FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
